The dry season is the favorite for flowers - we haven't had rain for over a month so we are doing a lot of watering. We have two natural springs on our property that we use to water the garden. 
After two weekends of work the waterfall is nearly done - they will be adding flag stone to the steps so that it will have a more natural appearance and sound. We will put lots of lush tropical plants around the base of the waterfall to make it blend into the hillside.

Looked at every page of your blog and it is the most beautiful garden I've ever seen. About this new waterfall, wasn't it part of Patricia's original plan or is this something you've undertaken on your own?
Once again, congrats for the garden adn the new addition to the house.
