A view down to the new terrace at the bottom of the waterfall.

Wall construction is almost finished. There will be lots of plantings in front of the wall down the driveway.
Still a little planting left to do by the new pedestrian gate.
Steven continues to bring air plants to stick in the wall on both sides.
A view behind the front wall.

We've been adopted! We have been feeding this dog on the road for five months and she has decided that we make a worthy family. Her name is Tipper for the little white tip on her tail.
Tipper needed a bit of work (food, medicine, veterinarian, and spaying) but she's in good shape after only three weeks and is filling out. She gets along nicely with the schnauzers and the cats! No problems.
She is our outside dog. She's learning commands very quickly and loves the walks each day. She is mostly black lab.
The courtyard outside the office is almost finished. Vines from the other side of the wall will tumble down this side.

Michael is giving a garden tour to our neighbors, Al, Sela and their two visiting daughters, Sarah and Michelle. With people in the picture it gives you a better feel of the size of the garden.

The sky was so blue during this sunset. You can see the lights of Alto Boquete in the background.

Noche wears his catnip well The Bunning family reunion - my Dad's brothers and sisters. From left to right, Uncle Roy, Aunt Norm, Uncle Russ, Aunt Joy, Dad, and Aunt Peg. Boyd Bunning family - four generations of Bunning males were represented. Tracy also had three of his children there. I think Dianne was taking pictures so she isn't in my pictures.

This is a wild Margay kitten. Our neighbor's gardener and his wife found it on the road. They are very rare and endangered because of small litters and how they live.
She will grow to about 20 pounds. This is a great shot of her very distinctive markings.
This is Ilga, the gardener's wife. She lived in the states for a while and speaks very good English. They have taken the margay to a wildlife refuge.
Check those paws! This girl has some growing to do. They are great athletes with tremendous jumping ability.

As promised, a couple more shots of our parrot arrivals.

Here's a better shot of our new hawk arrival.
Steel foundation for the new terrace. We could probably build a guest casita on this.
We tore out the iron railing that went down the side of the house and the team used it to create this screen. It will be covered with climbing vines. The plan is to block the wind into the tropical garden.
Here is a view from the terrace area. The waterfall runs right down to that area. This whole side of the house is being replanted with a tropical theme.

Sissy and her little friend - a Howler Monkey. The monkey was orphaned and is being raised by a couple of our friends. The monkey is around 3 months and she wears
diapers.

They play well together, however we still maintain control by holding each of them. Sometimes the monkey will grab Sissy's beard with its two hands and won't let go. When this happens Sissy starts to panic and trys to get away.
