Finally something for me to contribute concerning the garden. After serious consultation with my golf course design buddy John Sutton and hitting several buckets of balls from the upper yard, we have decided the garden cries for a golf hole. This will be about an 85 yard chip shot from an elevated tee. Need to berm it a little bit in the back so the gardener won't have to go into the jungle when he shags balls on Mondays. Closest to the hole during parties will be a blast! Do I see sand traps in the future?  Posted by Hello

Waterfall channel and walk path along upper garden

Some plants waiting to meet the soil

Our gardners have become quite the hams. They now expect daily pictures of themselves working - at this rate I'll need a lot more photo paper. These guys are so fascinated with pictures of themselves

Middle yard where gazebo will go - the concrete blocks will be foundation for the iron fence

Work on the posts for the entry gate - we are doing this to keep the horses, stray dogs and cattle out, not to impress anyone

Two frequent guests - they accompany the workers

I always have to include a great sunset picture - this was taken last night over dinner - what a life Posted by Hello

This flower, Pasiflora, will grace our lower slope. According to Patricia, it will spread and cover the slope with flowers that will bloom year round. Posted by Hello

Spilled beans, this little boy is helping his Papa pick up the spilled coffee beans. This is near our home.  Posted by Hello

Looking from from the lower garden into another uncleared jungle area. There is a stream below - the bushes are coffee.  Posted by Hello

Sissy runs through the garden and asks where is all the green? Posted by Hello

This will eventually be a walking path through the garden.  Posted by Hello

Looking from our garden to our uncleared property. There is still coffee growing and the vegetation is thick. Posted by Hello

The garden is coming along - we are at a point where the substructure is nearly complete. Posted by Hello

A great place to have a swim.  Posted by Hello

Dinner on the deck with Matt and Stacy. Just for fun, Baru gave us a light show. Wow! Great food, family, fun, dogs, and the Valcano! How good does it get? Posted by Hello

This is the view from our back deck of a 4000 year old dormant volcano, Valcan Baru. It is 11,000 feet high. Posted by Hello

Matt and I wade through a narrow channel to reach the big ones. As you can see by how we are dressed it was a cool day. Posted by Hello
