A few of the seedlings that I've grown so far this season. There are approximately 400 more to be moved to the cup stage as soon as they are ready

The morning is my favorite time to tour the garden. These plants are right outside the office window and I never tire from looking at them

I've been working on my gardenia plants - I had to move them from the original planting site - they didn't get enough sun - now they are blooming! The blooms are a good three inches wide and the leaves are now the beautiful deep green that I was looking for - what a fragrance!

Mike brought back lots of seeds from the States and everything is germinating beautifully. Plenty of flowers for our new garden section.

A bat impaled itself on our barbed wire the other night. He was alive and kicking!

We released him right after this shot.

Lots of black dirt and more seedlings.

We reterraced the herb garden so each section would be more level. Mike brought back plenty of herb seeds also.

The honeysuckle vines along the wrought iron are solid with growth. They smell great.

A shot from above of the new garden section for all those seedlings. We are going to put an arbor in the center of the bigger circle and train vines to grow on it.

A morning walk down the lower path. Everything is thickening out now that the rains have come.

Sharon has turned these slopes close to the house into a nasturtium bed. You can see the little guys in the grass. They grow fast.

We have replanted the lower slopes with manni, or peanut grass. It grows super thick with yellow flowers. Great groundcover.

Another shot in the lower garden. Banana trees are doing well. This area is where one of our springs flows.

This is one of the slopes that has replanted with manni. We also started what will be a low hedge at the base of the slope. To give you an idea of scale we planted 135 to make the line.

Noche is one year old and has hit 14 pounds. Sharon caught him in mid yawn while sleeping on her hat.

Jaguar at her favorite spot on the computer desk watching the hummingbirds.

A little pre-walk stretch with our view from the terrace.

Mocha loves her big brother Noche.
