I love the composition of colors.

We have had two months of unbelievable winds. I've kept track and we haven't had more than 5 calm days in the last 35 days. We also haven't had any rain. A lot of plants in the garden have been shredded - I'm told that they will recover, however it sure doesn't make me enjoy this time of year. I much prefer the rains. We haven't been able to eat on the terrace for quite some time. Today we have calm and I'm so glad because Chris, our son and his girl friend, Catherine have arrived for a short visit.

We have lost a few trees to the high winds and many plants will have to be cut to the ground because of all the shredded leaves.
