One of our favorite restaurants is the Hibiscus - the owner and chef is French

We buy beer and coke by the case - $7.00 for a case of beer and $5.50 for a case of Coke

This is the Mercado - we go here about once a week and buy fruits and vegetables - a week's supply cost about $5.00

These are the fishmongers - we stop here a couple times a week - great mahi and red snapper and sea base - average cost is $1.50 per pound - the fish is brought in fresh daily

Our Boquete one lane bridge - cars take turns crossing - according to our local paper they will be making it a two lane bridge soon

Breakfast at Olga's with Chris and Catherine - one of our favoriate morning spots - Olga serves gringo style breakfasts

New bakery in town - Shalom Bakery - we've tried a few of their items and liked them

Chris and Catherine at the Palto Alto restaurant - Chris and Catherine are both second year dental students at Temple University - their visit was a much needed break

Saturday we went to Valcan Baru National Park with Chris and Catherine - it is a rain forest just out of town - the scenery was spectacular the next few pictures are of our trek



This unfinished house was being built many years ago - before it was completed the wife of the guy was building it died - he didn't finish the house and has since died - his children refuse to sell the property
